The Commercial Fruit Crops Advisory Program serves commercial producers of tree fruits (apple, peach, pear, plum, cherry), small fruits (blueberry, strawberry, bramble) and alternative fruits (gooseberry, elderberry, pawpaw, persimmon). This program is part of the statewide mission of the State Fruit Experiment Station to support the Missouri fruit production and processing industries. The State Fruit Experiment Station, located at Mountain Grove, Missouri, is operated by the Department of Agriculture.
Workshops, conferences, field days, individual consultations, and site evaluations are offered to growers through this program which includes the annual Missouri Small Fruit and Vegetable Conference.
Results of research programs conducted at the State Fruit Experiment Station are disseminated through this program.
