Diseases of Grapevine in Missouri

by Laszlo Kovacs

Fungal diseases present a major limiting factor of grapevine cultivation in Missouri and in several mid-western states. The following links provide information on the most important fungal pathogens that occur in the region. The diseases are described in an outline format to point out the most essential features that help in their identification and control. The noted susceptibility of wine grape varieties in each description has been determined under Missouri conditions. Each outline is followed by comments to point out the relative importance of the disease under Missouri conditions.
