Winter Care of Blueberries

Young mulched blueberry plants can invite moles and voles to the blanketed area.  Moles and voles can uproot plants or cause roots to die.  For more information on wildlife pests, refer to University of Missouri publications list:
Wildlife and Wildlife Pest Publications at http://muextension.missouri.edu/xplor/agguides/wildlife/index.htm

The dormant season is a good time to replenish the mulch around your plants.
