Grape Pest Problems
Black rot of grapes is the most common disease of grapes
in Missouri. This disease is caused by a fungus that can infect both
the leaves and the fruit (see photo right). Black rot eventually
leaves the berry as a dry raisin-like mummy. Other fungus diseases that affect grapes
