'Gasconade' Grape Released from the
Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station

('Captain' X 'Terret Monstre')
A medium sized, black grape on large, compact clusters,
ripening two weeks after 'Concord'. The pulp is tender, sweet and of
excellent flavor. It is suitable for fresh juice, red wine or table use.
The vine is vigorous, producing perfect flowers and large crops.
Introduced 1947.
