The Missouri State University Winery and Distillery is located at the State Fruit Experiment Station of Missouri State University, a unit in the William H. Darr School of Agriculture.

The Winery and Distillery is licensed for wine sales and includes a commercially licensed distillery.

The facility supports research conducted on specific winemaking problems and offers educational opportunities for Missouri State department of agriculture students who are interested in enology. Public educational events for artisan distillers, home winemakers and consumers are offered annually.

Wine Appreciation for Consumers - an 8 week introduction to wines taught by Mountain Grove Cellars faculty and staff  - 1 credit, second block in the Spring Semester at the main campus in Springfield. You must be 21 years of age to sign up for his class.
