Subscribe or Unsubscribe* to the
Horticulture Advisory Listserv. Once you subscribe, you
will receive an email confirmation. Once you reply to the
email confirmation, you will be on the list to receive current
horticulture related information
and reminders.
*Please note the instructions below for Firefox and Internet
Explorer Browsers!
Firefox browser:
1. The browser will present you with a certificate error
notification, along with three options.
2. Select the option to accept this certificate permanently.
3. Click OK to continue.
Internet Explorer Version 6 or 7 browser:
Due to the way that Microsoft’s Internet Explorer handles
browser security certificates, you may receive a warning or error
when accessing the listserver website. When the warning page
appears, you may take the option to continue to the Listserver site
- even though the notice warns against this. You should be able to
go on to the site with no problem.
You may wish to take the following steps to avoid getting the
message in the future:
1.
When the page first comes up, it will display three
options, as on the attached screenshot. The user will need to click
the option to “Continue to this website”, even though it is not
recommended. This will get you to the next step, with the red
address bar.
2.
The address bar will display red, and a certificate error will
appear next to it. Click on the Certificate Error box to display
details about the error.
3. At the bottom of the Certificate Error window, click the option
to View Certificates.
4. The certificate details window will appear, with an option to
install the certificate. Click the button to Install Certificate.
5. A wizard will walk you through the certificate installation
process. Take the defaults in each window.
6. When you are presented with a confirmation to import the
certificate, click Yes. Complete the installation by closing all of
the remaining certificate windows.
7. Restart your browser and
reconnect to the Listserver site.
If you would like to suggest an item to be sent to
the listserv, please note that you will not be able to send an email
directly to the listserv members by replying, but you can send an
email with your request to
MarilynOdneal@missouristate.edu and it will be considered for
release to the group. The releases need to be general
information or information on programs of interest to Missouri
Horticulture Advisory Listserv members but not for commercial
promotion of specific businesses.
